[Review] Nivea Sun Zero Feeling UV Lotion

Hooray another sunscreen review! It’s been a while, and as much as I have found my favorites, I’m still ever curious to try new ones. Today we’re going to review Nivea Sun Zero Feeling UV Lotion. This sunscreen is made in Japan, but you can buy it in Shopee from resellers at around 659php for a 100ml bottle.

Update: Nivea Zero Feeling UV Lotion has been discontinued February 2021

I wanted to love this so bad.. but.. sadly it broke me out 🙁

Why? How? Continue reading for my full review.

Nivea Sun Zero Feeling UV Lotion

According to Ratzilla Cosme:

Nivea Sun Zero Feeling UV Lotion is a fast-drying Japanese sunscreen gel with a bare skin feel.

Nivea Sun Zero Feeling UV Lotion

The sunscreen gel turns into a fast-absorbing, water-like texture when applied to the skin. It glides on evenly and dries instantly even on sweaty skin, giving the skin undetectable protection against daily UV exposure without a sticky feel or white residue. Hyaluronic acid keeps the skin hydrated.

Review

Recently I get too excited about products that I neglect reading the ingredients list first. Only to realize I get bad reactions from ingredients like Octinoxate -sigh-.

Octinoxate is a known hormone disruptor, so for some people, it can cause issues like cystic acne, clogged pores, and such. But if you’re not sensitive to this ingredient, I guess it’s fine to use.

It’s huge sunscreen (100ml!) that has a milky texture with a soft silky finish. True to its claims, it doesn’t leave any white cast or a heavy feeling on your skin. BUT…

Besides giving me huge-ass cystic pimples, it has a strong alcohol scent, and it stings my eyes when I sweat. It’s not waterproof too!

Score:⭐⭐⭐ out of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Repurchase? No. Even if it wasn’t discontinued.

Another great blog and Honest review Ms.Kaycee.Hindi ko pa na try yang products na yan.Pero yung lotion nila so far ok naman po sa skin.Pag sensitive din talaga yung skin nagkakaroon ng unexpected rashes sa ibang products.
