REVIEW: Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX
I remember I used to draft 5-6 blog posts a day. Ah those were the days. It was then I thought blogging could support my needs financially, but then realized that it wasn’t enough. Technologies evolve. Adapt or die. Adapt I did. I’m even creating reels now lol. But despite the transition, I needed a stable source of income, which content creation isn’t. Truth is, majority of clients dont pay on time, if not ever.
WHERE TO BUY: Official Missha Shop at Lazada
Enough about updates on personal life, let’s talk about makeup – which I truly missed. The pandemic caused me to dispose of 90 per cent of my stash because they expired, without use. I didn’t wear makeup at home, and my skin thanked me. But how I missed primping and prettifying myself, this my recent cosmetic purchases. First up on my review list is good ol’ bb cream from Missha. This is an updated version of their classic Perfect Cover BB Cream – the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX.
They said this range offers a more natural tone and finish, which I sort of agree. It’s less pink/yellow and more skin-like. Plus it still offers the same skincare benefits that its predecessor has. Continue reading for my full review, photos, and swatches.

Review
Previously, the older formulation boasted full coverage. This time around the RX version offers a light-medium coverage, which gives a natural finish. As you can see on my swatches above the BB cream still allows my real skin to peek through. It can cover some of my redness and even the dark circles on my undereyes, but not acne.
A little goes a long way with this cream as I only needed half-pump to cover my entire face. The shade I got (#22 Neutral Beige) was a bit lighter than my natural skintone and hoped I got #23 instead, silly me!
This cream doesn’t set, compared to the previous formulation which actually dries matte. So you need to set it with powder to avoid the product from settling into fine lines or caking.
Staying power? If set with powder it will last you a good 8 hours and it will still look good on your skin, but I noticed it settling into lines on my eyelids and laugh line area and had to retouch with an oil control film to clean it up.
Overall I’m satisfied with the performance of this BB cream and have been using this on a regular basis if I want to look polished but not overly made up.
Until my next review, ciao!
