REVIEW: Eskinol Deep Facial Cleanser for Pimples

I suffered from pesky, stubborn pimples last month. They lasted so long they’re practically overstaying on my face. Partly because of eating junk, lack of sleep, and stress. So frustrated I tried all sorts of readily available products at the store like the Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Deep Cleanser that I’ll be reviewing today as it was one of the products I tried.

Their latest endorser is Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub who’s been appearing on A LOT of endorsements. Kudos to her! Girl power! While writing this review, I’d also like to inform you that a horde of ants are crawling on my screen as I kill them one by one. My son apparently ate chocolate in front of my laptop and now I’m scared as hell if they’re already making a colony inside my computer *tears*

No I know what you want to find out… Is the Eskinol Pimple Fighting Cleanser effective? Continue reading for my honest review as always (binili ko pa to sa mercury drug! lol)

Balding hair, bad skin. Good thing there’s makeup to cover all of these acne.  Horrible! Yes readers, I do get bad skin once in a while. The brighter side of it all is that, I can try new products for you!

I forgot exactly how much this costs but it’s certainly less than 50 pesos. Yaya dub’s commercial and their “Dries up pimple in 3 days” and “Lighten pimple marks” label was able to convince me.

Review

I used this product for 1 week (7 days). I think that’s enough time since they claim it works as fast as 3 days. Sadly, it didn’t do anything. Well, I felt like my face was definitely cleaner because when I see the cotton ball after washing my face with soap, it can grab the dirt. Looking at the ingredients list the top ingredients are water and alcohol. ALCOHOL?! Imagine strong alcohol on our face, while it’s safe, it’s definitely not going to be good for our skin. It can dehydrate, dry, and even cause more turmoil.

My skin felt dry after using this, albeit clean. I waited for 7 days but nothing happened. My pimples stayed the same. Cystic and painful. They really shouldn’t make these false claims no? If it really doesn’t work as they should. I wonder if the facial wash from a different brand works since they also said it can help heal pimples in 3 days. Looks like 3 is the magic number no?

It is not effective for me, and I do not recommend Eskinol Pimple Deep Facial Cleanser for use. There are other affordable cleansers/toners out there  that is safe for our skin and uses more premium ingredients. What worked for my skin? Well, that’s another story for you to wait!
