Review: Ellana x Project Vanity Life-proof Eyebrow Pencil

Kamusta naman ang kilay naten? (How are your brows?). It’s been almost 3 months since lockdown and I’ve been DIY-ing my way through everything. From cutting my hair to shaping my brows. And I’m so glad I was able to score these Life-proof Eyebrow Pencils from Ellana, in collaboration with Project Vanity.

They already worked together previously on their Life-proof Eyebrow Gels that came in pot form. It got dry too fast and it was a hassle (for me) to bring a separate brush. While I loved the color & longevity, I wasn’t too fond of the formula and packaging. I always wish it came in a pencil.

Well, what do you know? Wish granted! ^_^ (They’re spoiling me too much hahaha)

Review

Magic. Just pure magic. First, the hexagonal shape of the product makes it easy to make precise lines. You also have the option to go thin or thick. It also comes with a built-in spoolie at the other end making blending and brushing a breeze!

What I love about eyebrow pencil is that it’s compact and travel-friendly. However, I haven’t found a product that lasts the ENTIRE DAY, until Ellana’s Life-proof Eyebrow Pencil arrived.

The formula is between gel & pencil. Sort of a hybrid? Just enough pigment that even a novice in makeup can use it with ease. It glides smoothly, but sets. It’s also waterproof! I tried wearing it on a rainy day.

It comes in 3 colors: light brown, red brown, and dark brown. My pigment of choice is red brown because it matches my hair color. Dark brown looks more on the gray side, while light brown is perfect if you have blonde or light-colored hair.

Would I re-purchase and recommend it? A big YES. This was sent to me as part of a blogger seeding, but I would gladly buy over and over from my own pocket because it’s worth it. I highly recommend and it’s super sulit. I think I found my HG eyebrow pencil? 🙂
