Review: Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder

I didn’t expect to like this face powder. Surprisingly I did. I loved it enough to HIT THE FREAKING PAN. I emptied the compact within a year, and that’s a feat for someone like me who, admittedly, -guilty- of buying makeup products.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder is described as a perfecting pressed powder that will leave your skin with a blurred, airbrushed, perfected finish. It comes in four shades: Fair, Medium, Tan, and Deep. There are only 2 available in my country (fair and medium) and I got the one in Fair.

Review

The product comes in a golden compact with a built-in mirror; albeit I wish it came with some sort of brush, sponge, or applicator. The lack of which, did make the compact slim, handy, and can fit the tiniest of purses.

The powder is finely milled! It’s silky to the touch, and if you look really really closely, has gives off a certain sheen. Not shimmer, not glitter, not even glimmer. A sheen.

before and after ct powder

Maybe that’s why when I put it on my face, it doesn’t look cake-y or powdery. Just smooth with blurred pores, sets makeup perfectly and just makes me look extra pretty! A face for the Gods!

I tried a lot of setting powders and this is by-far my favorite. Why? Let me count the ways:

Gives a soft focused fresh finish

♡ Blurs pores

♡ Sets makeup without changing color

♡ Translucent

♡ Wears better overtime

♡ Luxurious packaging

♡ Refillable

♡ Barely there feel, magaan, hindi mo feel na nakamakeup ka

♡ anti-haggard, kahit pagpawisan ka or mainitan hindi nag ooxidize. fresh ka pa din.

𝘊𝘰𝘯s?

– This is not an oil controlling powder okay. Pero kahit mag oily kayo, mukha pa din DYOSA ang skin nyo swear.

– Does not come with a brush or sponge

Don’t expect oil control. This is NOT a mattifying powder.

Final thoughts

I’ve compared this to my other pressed powders like the ones from NARS, MAC, Laura Mercier, and even Chanel. They do not stand up with Charlotte Tilbury! TRUST!

Here in the Philippines, I think it’s available at Look at Me in SM stores, but I get mine online at NANA Mall via Lazada priced at Php 2080.

Will I buy again? I already did! Twice! I hope they dont discontinue thisssss
