Puritans Pride Zinc for Acne Review – Puritan Pride Vitamins

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing you my 3-week journey with Puritans Pride Zinc for Acne. I mentioned in my previous vlog on “How to Have Clear Skin” that it’s mostly genetics. Throughout my youth, from elementary to puberty, I never experienced wild acne. Until today. I’m 32 by the way.

Sad layf.

I’ve tried the usual topical solutions for acne that I trust. AHA, BHA, Retinoids, even good ol’ Kati-Alis but nope. They still continue to grow into painful, pus-filled cystic acne. I also tried to stop using anything and just washed my face with water but nope. Acne is still present. Yes, I also consulted with a dermatoligist where I purchased her Acne-clearing set which to no avail, still didn’t work.

It’s frustrating.

Then I wondered if my problem is internal. Is it due to my high-sugar high-sodium unhealthy diet? Maybe. But I want to try a supplement a chance. After reading a lot of rave reviews online from real people. (Your best bet is Amazon). I finally purchased a bottle of Puritans Pride Zinc for Acne (950php @ BeautyMNL). This is #NotSponsored.

Zinc for Acne

Zinc can help fight viruses and bacteria. Although most people get the zinc they need through their diet, some people may find temporary supplementation beneficial. For example, zinc supplements are often marketed as a way to prevent colds or shorten illnesses.

Zinc also has anti-inflammatory properties. This may help relieve some of the redness and irritation associated with moderate-to-severe acne. It may even help reduce the appearance of acne scars.

Zinc has also been used for other inflammatory skin conditions, including:

  • melasma
  • rosacea
  • seborrheic dermatitis
  • eczema

Review & Results

The photos can speak for themselves don’t you agree? Mind you this is just after 3 weeks of using Puritans Pride Zinc for Acne. The redness visibly subisided and the occurrence lessened. I take 2 tablets every night before going to bed.

Based on Amazon Reviews  this is great for people who are suffering from hormonal acne which is, I think is my case. I get 2-3 growing out still but I think this will take a lot longer than 3 weeks to see the full benefit of this supplement. I didn’t notice any side effects so I’ll continue using this as part of my health supplement repertoire.
