Personal Musings: How to Cope with Gym Anxiety

Lets talk about ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฆ ๐š๐ง๐ฑ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ:

I recently received a DM from a follower asking “How to get more confidence to go to the gym?”

She further explained that she is worried about what other people might think or look at her some way because she’s not “ripped” or “fit”

Here’s a #realtalk, most fit people in the gym are too concerned about how they look and wont have time to judge you.

More often than not, they also have their own sets of concerns.

Ive been lifting out for more than 5 years now, and I feel my best.

I may not have 6 pack abs (a strict diet is needed for this!) because I love food too much and prefer to be carb-happy than deprive myself.

Besides, wala naman ako balk mag compete!

What Im trying to say is, go to the gym for YOU and focus on YOURSELF.

Dont mind what others may think, and if you reallyyyyyy need to feel more secure, bring a friend ๐Ÿ˜‰
