My Favorite Lip and Cheek Tints (Review + Swatch

Lip and Cheek Tints are makeup that’s sheer but saturated with color. Because the formula is buildable, it gives everyone a universally flattering, just blushed look. As long as you get the right color for your skin tone.

It’s a must-have in every makeup lover’s kit, especially if you’re the type who just likes to grab & go, or just don’t have the time to do a full-face. Lip and cheek tints are saviour from making us look colorless.

3CE Multi-pot in Holly Hock – It’s first, because it’s my number one. You can read my full review by clicking the link above. It’s in a sassy slim compact with built-in mirror. With a cream texture. The product needs a bit of warmth to soften and get the color up from the pan. But once applied on your face, it gives off that sun-kissed look. A flattering soft orange that can be put on the eyes, cheeks, and lips, without drying. Once it sets, it lasts all day too!
Cathy Doll Sweet Aqua Tint – Looks like candy, tastes like candy, but not sticky. It’s a liquid bottle with a sponge applicator. It easily sheers out on cheeks and lips. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted my lips and it was actually SWEET! Subtle sugar that made me happy because most liquid tints are bitter. Color is rosy red.
Rom&nd Zero Velvet Tint in Burnt Heart – Bought this out of a whim during one of BeautyMNL’s sale. It feels so damn good to apply. Like soft melted marshmallows.. it gives you ample time to blend over your cheeks to. So it doesn’t leave you with any streaks. Color is deep, burnt red. (how do you pronounce their brand name? lol)
A’pieu Juicy Pang Water Blusher in BE01 – Sheer, watery, and long-lasting. The color, however is not buildable. That’s the wonderful part, it’s a warm deep beige that’s perfect if you want to highlight your other makeup like eyeshadows, or bright lips. Sometimes you need a go-to neutral blush. It’s too pale for my lips though 🙂
