Kaisa Villa Air Fryer Review + Tips
No first of all, I’m not a cook. But all these posts on social media finally swayed me to buying my own Kaisa Villa Air Fryer to review. It took me *counts in my head* 3 months of convincing to finally go and get that most coveted and trending air fryer.
It’s on everyone’s must-buy list for 2021, and some people like my friend Dexter have been dreaming about it! What’s not to love? They say it makes cooking time simpler, easier clean-up, healthier option because it’s oil-free, and there are a lot of recipes you can do with it! So today, I’ll be giving you my honest review of the Kaisa Villa Air Fryer!
What’s an Air Fryer Anyway?
The air fryer is essentially an amped-up countertop convection oven. (But there’s a difference between air-frying and baking.) Patented by Philips Electronics Company, the small appliance claims to mimic the results of deep-frying with nothing more than hot air and little or no oil.

Popular Brands of Air Fryers in the Philippines
Of course, I did my research. I even went up there and asked for recommendations from friends too. It all boiled up to deciding based on my budget, and a number of positive reviews. A 5L Kaisa Villa is only 1,800PHP with FREE shipping in Shopee, compared to other brands that cost 4,000 and above (but they might be better in the long run.. who knows?)

Kaisa Villa Air Fryer Review
Okay so here’s my honest to goodness review. First of all, I didn’t read the manual, but it’s user-friendly enough that you don’t need one to get this fryer working. I’m lazy and was excited so I wanted to use it right away!
It weighs around 5lbs so it is not as light as you think. What annoyed me so much is the short power cable. It’s like a foot and a half long, and I need to place it near the power supply. Extension cables are available, but still! I wonder if this is the same with other brands?
There are 2 turn-switches: 1 for the temperature, 1 for the timer. Some are automatic press buttons, this one is manual. But I don’t mind at all. It’s straight forward and simple to understand. It can be set up to 30 minutes for cooking time, and 200 degrees Celsius temperature.
This is great for someone like me who doesn’t have the time of day to do meticulous dishes or just fry food all the time. I’ve been using this for simple dishes for a few days now: chicken, tilapia, nuggets, hot dogs, bacon, egg toast etc. and I have no complaints! It works as it should and I’m happy with the price I got it for, 1800 is a steal compared to other well-known brands. I just hope this lasts for a few years to get the most out of it!
So…. if you’re looking for an affordable air fryer, I do recommend Kaisa Villa. Just remind the seller to add additional bubble wrap and precautions to avoid damage during transit. Enjoy air frying!!!
