review: Strokes Silk Kiss Lip Oil in My Lips But Better

The first lip oil I’ve ever tried was a mini from Clarins. It smelled so good, like honey, and it kept my lips glossy and soft like ever. I thought of getting the full sized version, but I felt like scrimping a little so I got a local lip oil alternative instead – Strokes Silk Kiss Lip Oil in My Lips But Better.

It had a LOT of good reviews on my favourite review group, TBG (aka The Budol Group) so I got budol-ed and checked out the product myself.

Review

This has been a staple in my kit in the past couple of weeks. This is me now. I’m now lazy to change whatever is inside my kit on a daily basis. What’s inside? A daily lippie like this Silk Kiss, and a “going out” lippie like my Dior Rouge in 999 if I need that extra *oomph*

It has a slight minty feel upon application, and the lip oil is not sticky. It’s not as glossy as Clarins’ but it does impart that healthy shine.

But you know what surprised me? It’s how it made my lips literally healthier in the long run. Even during times I don’t put it on, I wake up with soft lips. Take note that I didn’t make any lifestyle changes nor product use changes, except using Stroke’s Silk Kiss. Their Revidrate is more than just a claim. It does work. See?! See?!!! Wow. Like magic it seemed to even heal and made my lips naturally rosy! I wasn’t expecting this to happen at all. Strokes has done it again, and this isn’t even sponsored or gifted. I plan to get the cooler deeper shade: very berry
