Lanolips Rose Gold | Review

If I wanted a soothing lipbalm, I’d go for my trusty ol Lucas Pawpaw. If I wanted a good lip and cheek tint, I’d go for EB Advance Lip & Cheek Tint in Fig (review soon). BUT the impulsive shopper in me kept scrolling on Instagram, recommending things I’d want but don’t need. Like the Lanolips Rose Gold 101 Ointment Multibalm.

I bought this because of the hype reviews

Is it worth it? Did I regret my purchase? Continue reading til the end for my review.

Review

First of all, it’s sticky. Contrary to its claims. Pigment is barely visible and I only get a hint of color with gold flecks on my lips and face. No matter how many layers I apply. The opacity stays the same, only it feels heavier.

Thumbs up for the gorgeous red packaging. The reason why it caught my attention in the first place. It is ultra-hydrating. My lips that usually dry-out midday and peel was soft the entire time. I kept touching them really, loving how they felt.

Yes. This is wearing lanolips. Still pale right?

The barely there color faded within an hour *sigh*

A good lip ointment? Yes. I also use it for my peeling cuticles.

A good tinted balm? Nah.

Good thing it’s limited edition because I have no plans of buying this again nor recommending it.

How about you? What’s your favorite tinted lipbalm?
