Courses for scholarship

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with specialization in Software Engineering

The degree is designed to give students an advanced understanding of the various computing concepts and theories, analysis, and application of principles to create software to solve real-world problems. Specializing in Software Engineering enables students to apply engineering concepts and methods in developing and improving software systems. 

Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing Game Development

The degree is designed to develop students with a thorough and advanced understanding of the various study and use of concepts, principles, and computing techniques in designing and developing multimedia products and solutions. Its application includes science, entertainment, and advertising. Specializing in Game Development will produce professionals who excel in designing, developing, and creating digital games. 

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with specialization in Web Development

The degree is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills in computer programming and the end-user experience through the effective and efficient utilization of hardware and software technologies. By specializing in Web Development, students will be trained in designing and implementing web-based applications. 

How to apply as a scholar

BingoPlus Foundation Scholarship Program is open to students in need of financial assistance to continue their education (for further evaluation by the Foundation)

● Courses available:

         – Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with specialization in Software Engineering

         – Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing Game Development

         – Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with specialization in Web Development

Qualifications

● must carry the regular load prescribed by the course

● must obtain a GWA of not lower than 1.75 and no grade lower than 2.50 in any subject

● must possess good moral character

● must not have been subjected to any disciplinary action by the school, either academically or administratively, during the period enrolled

● Documentary requirements:

● Letter of intent

● Certified true copy of previous grades covering SY 2021 – 2022

● Recommendation letter from guidance counselor or faculty

● Certificate of good moral character

● Income Tax Return (ITR) or BIR Certification of Exemption from Filing ITR if unemployed (To be provided by parents/guardian)

● Certificate of Employment (COE) stating the following: position in the company and monthly Salary (To be provided by parents/guardian)

● Video requirement:

– The applicant should create a two (2) minute video pitch expressing willingness to work for the granter upon graduation and covering the following points:

       (a) Why do I deserve the scholarship?

       (b) How can you help the country when you graduate, or How can you give back to the country when you graduate?

● Qualified and interested students should submit their application via this email: scholarship@iacademy.edu.ph

● Deadline for submission of application for the scholarship: January 13, 2023

● Date of announcement of the chosen scholars: February 2023

BingoPlus Foundation will subsidize 80% of selected students’ total tuition fees for the entire prescribed duration of the program.
