Review
Not sure if you’ve noticed, but I used the Butterlips Conditioning Color on my eyes, cheeks and lips. (note: this was not formulated for eye/cheek use. personal choice ko lang gamitin) I love multi-tasking products because I hate bringing too much things on my kit and In Her Element’s latest project ticks all the boxes.
It comes in a cute twist-up packaging with a matte sheer cap. Be careful in twisting too much! The product itself is soft and might break.
First swipe and WOAH! Color! Pigment! I was expecting more of a sheer translucent balm, like most are. But boy do theirs pack a punch. Maybe I have a heavy hand? I dunno. But don’t worry, you can achieve a more natural look by just tapping just enough. (yes I have a heavy hand lol)
It’s buttery smooth just like its namesake and applies like a dream. So slippery. Staying power is the bomb too. Initial application gives you a nice healthy gloss color.
It leaves a nice stain even after eating greasy food or drinking coffee. From my experience, with my thiicc lips it doesn’t feather or bleed so another thumbs up.
Moisture-wise, I’d still use a balm underneath if you have dry lips. I have a friend (who I won’t mention her name heehee) who also ordered all 3 and gave me feedback that it didn’t prevent her lips from chapping by mid-day. Now it’s a case-to-case basis.
My favorite shade is Tala. Obviously I’m in love with muaves. It’s not too bright, not too nude, but flattering on my olive complexion. Get the Mayari if you want a natural MLBB or Hanan if you want to brighten up your face. Get all 3 if you want XD who’s judging? Haha!
Hope you enjoyed my review! Love lots!
