Revlon ColorStay Life-Proof Foundation Stick Review (180 Sand)

This might be love. Legit. I’m a sucker for stick foundations, but I haven’t found “the” one.  It’s either they lack coverage, dull finish, no shade match, or bad longevity. Not until today that is with Revlon ColorStay Life-Proof Foundation Stick. It seems to have all the traits I’m looking for.

Revlon ColorStay Life-Proof Foundation Review

For reference I have a light-medium olive complexion and a combination skin type. Usual oily parts are my T-Zone area while the rest is what you can call “normal“. I rarely have acne except on my chin, and upper lip.

Packaging – A matte black twist-up tube with a transparent cap. Stick types are quite convenient!

Coverage – Buildable. Sheer to heavy. Depends on how much layers you apply. It can also serve as a concealer too

Texture – Smooth and creamy. Just like butter. I’m assuming it’s high on the -cones because of how it glides so easy on the skin. No tugging and blends like a dream.

Finish – Moist? Wet? LOL On my skin it just provides that fresh sun-lit radiant glow without any traces of shimmer or glitter. My skin but a LOT healthier-looking. This perfect if you’re into that glass-skin look. Reminder, this is not matte.

Scent – Fragrance-free

Longevity – After wearing it in the gym, it didn’t set into my laugh lines or other wrinkles. The coverage is still there too. I’m impressed! I didn’t even use any setting powder that time. Around 8 hours later within the day it still looked good! Minimal fading and it was still able to cover my acne on my chin.

Final Thoughts

Revlon made all my foundation wishes come true. No need for to bring brushes or sponge. I just swipe, blend, and I’m good to go. Not only that, it provides a healthy, glowing finish sans the shimmer. It’s quite photogenic really! It looks even better in person.

You can layer the coverage and it still looks natural. I tried using a setting powder the next time I wore it and it lasted even LONGER. What can I say? I’m blown away. A current favorite that I’ll probably keep in my kit until I find something better (or curiosity gets me to try another product haha)
